Prof. Sergey Dm. Ivanov received Diploma in Biochemistry from the St. Petersburg State University in 1971, and Ph.D. in Oncology from Research Institute of Oncology in 1975. Since 1984 he has been working at the Russian Research Centre for Radiology and Surgical Technologies, the Ministry of Public Health of Russia. In 1992 he received the degree of Dr. Biol. Sc. in Radiobiology. In 1993 he established an environment toxicant biotesting laboratory. Prof. Ivanov is a member of biochemical, gerontological and oncologic scientific societies of Russia. Significant part of his research interests in medical radiobiology is devoted to development of short-term methods for individual prediction of radiation- and chemoradiation therapy efficacy in oncologic patients. Sergey Ivanov is author of a number of publications including a monograph.
